Datca peninsula has countless beaches, some of which are very popular, some others waiting to be discovered with their untouched nature. Mesudiye area where Villa Vista is located offers many magnificent choices for daily seaside trips.

Hayit Buku
This is the nearest beach to Villa Vista. It is small but one of the prettiest one. The water is very clean, clear and generally very calm, ideal to swim, to snorkle, canoe, fishing and scuba diving. We highly recommend Ortam Restaurant to enjoy a perfect evening at Hayıt Buku with its marvelous Aegean cuisine and very fresh fish.

Ovabuku
Just 5 minutes away, Havıtbuku's neighbor Ova bay. A longer coast to give more privacy at beach but many choices at service with numerous small coffees and restaurants. On windy days, the sea may be rough.

Palamutbuku
If you follow the road at the end of Ovabuku (this is a short cut, there is a longer but better road- see the map), you reach palamutbuku after 15 minutes. Comparing to Ova and Hayıtbuku, this is even longer coast with a bigger village settlement and even more numerous touristic shops, bars , taverns and restaurants. Before you arrive, there is a petty pretty small beach called pink beach on the road. You can recognize it from its pink pebbles. If you have time, it is really worth to stop by and swim there.

Knidos
After Palamut Buku, at the point of peninsula you arrive the Ancient Greek site of Knidos. this archaeological site is large and spectacular even though a small portion of the ruins have been uncovered. It’s location between the Mediterranean and Aegean makes it even more interesting, it should not be missed.

Datça

In 20 minutes by car, you can reach the central twon of the area, Datça. Town center itsel is surrounded by small beaches, side by side. Datca's small marina have many bars and coffees. In Datça, you have many possiblities from surfing to discos, other sea sports, bigger shops and local markets..A very near beach to Datca, Kargı (5 km) is very special and under protection. At the beach called Taşlık (stony in local language), there is a natural spring and a small lake falling into the sea for decades. And a historical water mill. And of course please do not leave Datça, before visiting Old Town (Eski Datça-3 kms away from the center)).
